“ I've liked KFC since Bonchon was here, what, 10 years ago? bb.q chicken has a location near campus, which was good, but this one is even better. Much easier parking, slightly better service. In the spot where a good authentic Chinese place was, can't remember the name. I wanted some of everything on the menu. Wings of course, and I want to try all the flavors. Tteokbaki. Kimchi fried rice. Bulgogi. Wait, bulgogi poutine? Two of my favorite things. But I wasn't in the mood for eggs and tater tots, which were in the menu picture. Next time. For now, I got enough for lunch here and supper at home. 8 Gangnam style wings, and 8 Caribbean boneless pieces, plus their new so ddeok so ddeok, essentially tteokbaki and sausage grilled on a skewer, with a little sauce. I ate one of those skewers at the restaurant. Very good, tempted to eat the other, but saved it and saved room for lunch. The boneless pieces are big and crispy and so so tasty. White and dark meat, which I love, but if you're expecting just chicken breast be advised. Tender, moist, crunchy on the outside, just excellent. The Caribbean sauce is flavorful with just a tiny hint of heat. The gangnam is also just a tiny bit zippy, with maybe more black pepper. Both sauces were great. And the wing are meaty, juicy, and again crispy on the outside. I know they won't be as crispy at home, but that was the plan, to have more for later. I'll live. The car smelled great on the way home. I will definitely be back, for other flavors, bulgogi, and more. Price? About $40, for two filling tasty savory meals. Service was excellent. I got there when they opened and was the only customer for most of the time I was there. Server was friendly and helpful, patient as I tried to decide, there when I needed her but not intrusive. The place is clean and airy, seating is comfy. Well worth a visit. ”

“ Chicken and mala ddukbokki came precisely to their expectations, which is expected with such big name chains. I was with a couple friends who'd never been, so we went with the obligatory half/half with fried and secret sauce combo. They also like spicy food so we got the mala ddukbokki with cheese added on. They were all hits with the friends, and they're now going to check the other KFC places in town for comparisons. I'd be curious to hear the findings. Ultimately it will come down to personal preferences, just like how Kentucky FC vs. Popeyes vs. Church's etc. You get the point. Our server was a very nice girl who said that it's her second day working, which I took into account when she didn't get it 100% at the time of ordering, but she had the common sense to turn around and confirm what she heard or misheard. I appreciated that. The management, however, should do a better job of training their employees. For example, I asked if they had Korean beer and *all three employees* at the counter told me there weren't, and that they only had Kirin. I immediately spotted Cass bottles in the fridge behind the counter and told them those were Korean. I understand that this is probably a nit pick, but these small details matter in the end. I obviously didn't take any stars off because I don't believe in point deductions for these minor training issues, but thought it was worth mentioning. All in all, the taste was consistent and I had a good meal. ”

“ This is the place to go if you are craving good Korean Fried Chicken. We did a take-out and wasn't sure how the food would travel. But let me tell you, their food travels wonderfully. We had the Galbi and the Spicy Galbi and the Kimchi Fried Rice. All of the items were just absolutely delicious, packed with flavor. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. Can't wait to go and dine-in next time! ”

“ I was really sad to hear that Meshikou Chikin had closed, but after visiting bb.q Chicken, I am assured that the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) scene is safe and sound. I went with a group of people on my last visit, and we ordered several different flavors of wings - the Spicy Golden Original, the Wings of Fire, the Hot Mala, and the Spicy Galby. We also ordered the sweet potato fries, the onion rings, and the kimchi fried rice. The chicken wings were huge and tasty, and really not that spicy. Both the fries and onion rings were fresh and generous portion sizes. The star of the show for me was the Kimchi fried rice - it was very flavorful and was a nice accompaniment to the fried chicken. Even though we had a decent group size and the place had steady traffic during the lunch hour, our waitress was very helpful and even gave us small samples of their different sauces to help us decide on wing flavors. I will certainly be back in the future to check out the other flavors, plus the kimchi fried rice! ”

“ Spicy Galbi wings Had 5 bucks off an 8 pack, these were large in size (the breading pumps them up), very pretty, extremely Krispy, heat was sweet but still too mild for me. I liked them better than CM. Kwings aren't my favorite style, I still prefer mine naked and wet ”

“ Came here to satisfy my Korean fried chicken craving and it definitely hit the spot. Only thing is the batter was a tad on the thicker side but still crunchy and flavorful. We got the honey garlic and spicy galbi. I liked the honey garlic more of the two. The spicy galbi was a bit on the sweeter side but still tasty. The sweet potato fries were also pretty good. Sweet potato fries can be soggy but these were crispy. Each chicken order comes with pickled radish. Service was quick and friendly. Multiple TVs playing sports but it would be nice to have Korean music playing for the full vibes. Easy parking in the lot. ”

“ There had been a couple Korean Fried Chicken place popping around Columbus. bb.q Chicken recently expand and open up their second location in Columbus. They are located on Bethel Rd, also next to another recently open bubble tea place, Tiger Sugar. This is my first time trying bb.q Chicken and it may raising on my list for Korean Fried Chicken. Their fried chicken offer either wings, boneless or whole chicken. From their sauce line up, there is a couple interesting option, such as Galbi and Cheesling sauce. They also offer some Classics Korean food, like Kimchi Fried Rice and Ddeok-bokki. The Galbi sauce definitely be my favorite. It has a touch of sweetness and smoky flavor. The right ratio of sauce is being coated on each wings. The breading is light, yet super crispy and crunchy. Topped with green onion and sesame seeds. I also got the Ddeok-bokki. It is a dish with rice cakes and fish cakes reduced in a sweet and spicy red chili sauce. It is always comforting to have this in a cold day and the sauce is always addicting. ”
